Here is some additional information that might be helpful about when you will be able to login to Canvas and when you will be able to access an online class.
- You need to be officially enrolled in a course that uses Canvas before you can log in to your online class.
- You can only access your Foothill College courses through Foothill College Canvas. You will not be able to access courses from other colleges or institutions through Foothill College Canvas.
- After you have applied and have received a confirmation email from Admissions & Records that they have processed your application, there is a bit of a lag when the registration system syncs with Canvas. Therefore, you will need to wait 1-2 hours after your application is processed before you can access Canvas.
- You will not be able to access an online class if you are still on the Waitlist.
- Please be sure to check the Class Schedule to see when your class begins. You will not be be able to access your course until the course start date or when your instructor starts the course.
- Check for email messages from your instructor to see when they plan to give you access to the course.
